How to Become a Member?
You can join the Hostelling International community in the following ways:
- Purchase a membership online
- Buy a membership upon arrival at a HI hostel
- Get a membership before your trip from a HI hostel, Youth Hostel Association office, or an authorized membership outlet
Membership Conditions Per Destination
- In some destinations, membership is required to stay at HI hostels, so please check in advance.
- Check the local Member Association website for specific offers in your travel destination.
- Some discounts may require local membership. Always ask about local discounts when checking in at a hostel.
